Yes. PIR sensors are one of the most popular options — lights come on automatically when movement is detected, which is great for security and convenience. We can also fit timers and dusk-to-dawn controls.
Are outdoor lights safe in the rain?
When installed correctly, yes. We use fittings with the right IP (weatherproofing) rating for their location and connect them to RCD-protected circuits, so your outdoor lighting is safe in all weathers.
Can you add an outdoor socket too?
Absolutely. A weatherproof outdoor socket is handy for mowers, pressure washers, hot tubs and Christmas lights. We fit them on a suitably protected circuit alongside your lighting if you wish.
Can you light a whole garden or patio?
Yes. From subtle path and border lighting to feature and patio lighting, we can design and install a scheme to suit your garden and budget. For larger projects we visit first and provide a quote.
Do I need an electrician for outdoor lighting?
